A short story about the Judge Council.

Well, wrote this during computer tech out of boredom. Hope you like it.

Another Friendly Meeting

“My Judge,” spoke Halowine who had ghost stepped into the Council Room. The room would probably appear quite magnificent. It was very large and had a dome ceiling. All the walls chairs and windows were all made out of a Crystalline Glass that looked much like glass but, was harder than even crystal. Crystalline Glass kind of has a stained glass window feel to it that makes it different shades of white. The room was just a big circle with 13 tall chairs in it, each chair a certain height. Two tall dark figures dressed it long black cloaks that concealed their identities were in the room. One was sitting on the highest chair in the room and the other kneeling at the ground.

“What is it you want my son?” rang down the judges voice to Halowine echoing through the empty round room.

“I think there’s a matter that needs to be brought to the Council’s attention,” Halowine spoke in his deep voice while standing.

“Oh, this surprises me because you don’t normally enjoy the others company,” The Judge said while chuckling.

“Maybe that informs you to his urgency” Halowine said without the merest crumb of humor.

“Very well my son.” At that The Judge put his hand down to the arm of his great chair where white lights formed into existence where his hand lay above. Lightly touching the lights in a rhythmic order the lights all shined at once suddenly and went out. Without warning 11 more people appeared in the room sitting in the various chairs. “Attendance.”

“Number 12,” said the slim figure in the shortest chair slipping off her hood, “Meek.” She had a small face with a strong jaw blue eyes and sandy blonde hair that she had pulled up on the back of her head.

“Number 11,” rang out what could be called a charming mischievous voice, “Grem.” Grem had pitch black hair that almost covered his eyes and kind of feathered out. With eyes blood red and skin the nice tan color of a life guard that works outside, he had a very sinister, yet charming, look. When taken off his hood the charm to hide his black wings that came from his back were revealed. He truly is the son of death.

“Number10,” came out a voice that seemed use to giving orders and had a command about it “Sam.” As he lifted his hood he had a very strong built face. With cheek bones and a jaw bone that protruded making his face both menacing and powerful. Dark brown eyes and his dark brown eye brows and hair just completed his mercenary like look.

“Number9,” drooled out a voice that sounded as bored as a teenager in a lecture in a math class, “Leon.” From under his hood came out bright orange hair and light green eyes that gave him a lively look. Despite his look he bore a extremely bored expression as if this was the last place he wanted to be.

“Number 8,” croaked out the low voice from the next chair, “Made-, “stopping mid-name she went into a coughing fit.

“Are you alright my daughter?” despite the situation there was true sincerity in The Judge’s voice.

“Yes just a little drunk that’s all, Number8 Madeline.” As she removed her hood an explosion of colors burst forth. Her hair was long enough when straightened that it went down to her waist. Not only was it long but it was randomly 62 different colors ranging from black to white and yellow to purple. At the moment it was not well kept and all over the place making it almost impossible to see the unique member behind it.

“You are the epitome of lowly humans Madeline.” Rang the smooth bell like voice of the figure in the next highest seat.

“Yeah well you should shut the—(I refrain from swearing in my writing but Madeline’s character calls for it so I’ll let you fill in the blank).” Gargled our Madeline.

“Number7 Vasarviouz,” this being Madeline’s prosecutor. His hair was a dark black that spiked at the back of his head but came down in bangs around his eyes. On top of that of that long gray hair sprouted from the top of his head. Being a vampire Vasarviouz hair grew and changed color according to his strength and not his age. He normally did not have any malice towards humans but viewed Madeline very in very low respect.

“Numbe-,” Boomed out number 5’s over excited tone.

“Idiot brother don’t you know that 6 is to be announced before, 5 of are you even that stupid.” Cold as ice number 6’s voice streamed out at 5.

“Oh, I just didn’t think you cared to be announced brother, it’s all yours.” It was obvious that number 6 did not think his brother, number5, very funny.

“Number6 Blight,” came out the same voice, emotionless now and not icy. His hair was a white color that had the lightest color of blue in it. His eyes a dark deep ocean blue color only made his dark expression all the darker.

“Number5 Blake,” yelled the figure that, despite being twins, actually appeared quite different from Blight. Despite their identical looks the way that they composed themselves made them totally different people. When Blight had a faint frown Blake had a bright smile.

“Number4,” purred out the slim tall figure in the next chair, “Haiku.” Her hair short, barely touching her shoulders, and feathering out in different directions gave her a wild look. Just like all those in her family she had very bright yellow colored hair. It wasn’t exactly blonde more of a solid yellow color. She had dark green eyes that strangely resembled cat’s eyes and when she smiled you got sharp teeth to look at.

“Number3 Jarx,” chuckled out Haiku’s older brother. Having the same unique color of hair as Haiku it was almost impossible to mistake them for anything but siblings. Jarx had a dark green eye that obviously looked like a cat’s eye but his other eye was very unique; consisting of constantly changing colors and symbols it is practically impossible to describe. While his eye resembled a cat much more then Haiku’s his constant smile was not so menacing.

“Oh Jarx, my dear brother was wondering if you ever figured out how to manipulate the production of energy?” The Judge questioned Jarx.

“I think I am close, but I’m afraid it may create a hole in time and suck me through it and I would rather not take that chance.” Jarx spoke in his voice that always seemed to be on the verge of uncontrollable laughter, “Then again, there is always lots of little Chaos children I could perhaps try it.”

“As your Judge I forbid it.”

“Darn…”

“Number2 Zift,” spoke the person that sat right above Jarx. He had a buzzed hair cut his hair was a dark black so it still showed up very nicely. His eyes were a bright yellow color that can be best compared to lightning. At the moment he was seemingly restless has his eyes swung back and forth and he leaned so far forward he appeared to almost be falling out of his chair.

“Number1 Halowine,” came out the same low voice that had asked for the meeting come to be. He had an orange fox colored hair and dark black eyes that would frighten the devil himself. From the back of his jacket a fox tail poked out waving back and forth in an impatient matter.

“I am Judge Dax, and I have called you all together to listen to Halowine who seems to have something he sees fit to share with us, Halowine,” Spoke Dax in an expectant voice of Halowine to take charge. Without hesitation Halowine leaped from his 29 foot high chair landing nimbly on his feet in the center of the room.

“Dax is preparing to proclaim war on Chaos and I just wanted all of you to know so that perhaps you will better prepare for war so we will not disgrace our name as the Judge Council, that is all.” Dax said very audibly but also darkly. In soundless movement Dax was suddenly standing next to Halowine, before Halowine had time to react Dax’s fist met directly with his stomach flinging him in air.

YOU DARE TO QUESTION MY ORDER AND TELL THEM OF SOMETHING I DO NOT WANT TOLD YET!?!”Exploded out The Judge’s voice suddenly having a frightening power to it. Halowine slammed into the wall and slumped to the ground. In the same manner that Dax appeared in front of Halowine and slammed him in the gut Haiku, number4, appeared in front of him grabbed his shoulders and stared into the black hole his hood made over his face that he never removed.

“Calm down Dax, you’ve lost control, you know Halowine wants to help you just have lost control, breath.” Haiku spoke in a very calm and soothing voice. After 30 seconds of Haiku’s comforting The Judge stood straight and leaped back up to his 30 foot chair.

“I pray your forgiveness my loyal son Halowine, I have not let my dark side control for so long that when he started to take over I had no control.” Came down the Judge’s voice in obvious meekness, “It’s obvious I have some training of my own to do, you are all dismissed.” In the blink of an eye the room was empty for all but, The Judge again.

so, are these all characters from your book? Some of them are familiar and some aren't.
